About
Welcome! I'm Caitlyn Kleine, a very energetic and enthusiastic senior at Dunlap High School. I am part of a very loving family of five (six, if you include my dog!). I live with my mom (Chris), dad (Chad), and two brothers: Cameron and Charlie. If you haven't realized yet, you might notice that all of our names begin with C. COOL RIGHT?! Oh, and how could I forget. My dog's name is Hershey in case you were even the slightest bit curious. Unfortunately for him though, I nor my fellow family members seemed to be in our right minds when we gave him a name beginning with H. A little off track, but you're here to learn about me and my life, right? Well, all of these people-- yes, my dog qualifies as a person-- are extremely important to me and my world...
Other than my family, I also love hanging out with my friends, who have been there for me through thick and thin. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I find pleasure in extracurricular activities, too. I am currently in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Project Purple at school. I also participate in a Teen Advisory Board at Dunlap's Public Library. When I have the opportunity, I play volleyball. I have played since fifth grade but made the difficult decision to stop after my junior year due to the ever-so-fabulous introduction between me and my close friend, reality. Getting a job. I started my first at a local ice cream shop, Coney's. All I'm going to say is that if you get frazzled easily, I would not recommend entering the take-orders-and-frantically-make-food-for-customers-as-they-glare-at-you-to-ensure-you-get-their-order-correct business. I was able to work there up until it was permanently closed.
Now, I'm thriving with a job at my dad's insurance agency scanning files. Let me tell you, letting tears fall down your puffy cheeks as you feed the scanner with more papers... Well, it doesn't get much better than that. No... I'm kidding! It isn't as fun as making ice cream and sneaking cookie dough bites at Coney's, but it's nice to spend some quality time with my dad. Actually, I like it better because it pays more. Not going to lie here...

A few more fun facts about me are that I am always down to volunteer when help is needed. A couple weeks ago, I sold some Spotted Cow ice cream to students and families at my school for an opening sports night, and it was super fun because I got to talk to loads of people. I also did it with one of my best friends, who I may or may not have forced to do it with me... I'd say it worked out for her though because we got to take all of the leftovers home, which was about two gallons.
Another little detail about me is that I always try to put the people around me in a sunny, blissful mood even if I'm drowning in schoolwork and want to cry to my "Down in the Dumps" Spotify playlist. I would share it because it's outstanding, but that would not be supporting my purpose of this blog. Maybe next time. Anyway, everyone has those gloomy days, even the happiest people on Earth. I'm here to spread my love of joy with as many people as possible. I'm here to reduce the number of dreary days we all experience. I'm here to "SPRINKLE KINDNESS LIKE IT'S CONFETTI."
